What does an instructional designer do?

As an instructional designer

I make content friendly.

I make learning fun.

I simplify content, stick to the budget and take care of tech issues on my own.

I am an innovator and I am much further down the road from traditional stereotypical recipes of producing instructional curriculum.

I am a course architect – I build, review and assist in structuring the course and the learning experience it will generate.

I am tech-savvy – comfortable with many types of media, devices and authoring softwares.

I am a team-player – I am good at understanding different perspectives and what means to be in different shoes before creating a curriculum for the person wearing those shoes.
