My human side

I like quality, I love computers, I love diversity in projects, cultures and people, I love the mountainous ocean shores, I like conversations, I like reading books and enjoy watching animations.

I live my life convinced that happiness is a choice. We can choose to be happy just by eating a strawberry, or we can choose to be terribly unhappy just because we lost the umbrella. It’s up to us! For a simple, make-me-happy choice, personally I will always choose a grapefruit and… rain won’t melt me, so the umbrella be damned!

I am not a religious person, but I strongly believe in the energy that propels all living things: I believe in people, and I am sure that each of us can become exactly who we want to be. It’s not easy, but prayer will not get it done, we must do it on our own. Not everyone has the guts to go down this road…and even fewer enjoy it. Don’t think of it as a burden, stop fighting yourself and give it all you’ve got every second. Believe me, it will be worth it. Be selfish and become who you want to be, don’t leave it up to God’s notoriously short attention span, it’s too important. Important things need full attention from numero uno – you!

I am passionate about working with people, I draw my energy from energizing them. I am surrounded by technology and use it every day, but if I were forced to choose between inanimate objects and interacting with people, I would choose the “beings” and enjoy discovering the unknown part of their Johari window. I delight in seeing through cynics and finding out what pushes their buttons, and if I succeed in making them smile, it is the best reward a trainer like me could ask for. You should know, though, that I am not exactly what you would call a “people person.” My German ancestry may have something to do with that.

The mantra by which I live my life is this: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Ghandi
